Has anyone’s schtick become more tiresome in the span of several months than Tomi Lahren’s?
There’s only so many times someone can feign complete, utter, blinding outrage at every single issue in the world (and make no mistake, she is feigning). But she manages to fucking FUME at every fucking thing that happens on a daily basis. It was impressive for a while, but now it’s just getting dull, repetitive and predictable.
But you knew she would be pissed at Colin Kaepernick, and she was, going off on the quarterback’s decision to sit for the national anthem.
My favorite part comes at the beginning.
“It’s this country, it’s this country that you have so much disdain for that allows you to speak your mind.”
Yea. I think he knows that. I think he knows that he’s allowed to speak his mind as an American citizen, which is why he did just that.
I love when people lament the affairs of America and others who dislike the substance of their argument can only respond by saying “do you realize you couldn’t say that in another country? How fucking dare you exercise the rights this country gave you.”
How fucking dare you, indeed.
