Scary Videos Show How 9 People Were Injured When 4th Of July Fireworks Exploded In Crowd

by 4 years ago

A fantastic 4th of July fireworks display turned into terror on Friday when a mishap caused the explosives to detonate in the crowd.

Approximately 20,000 came to Avon, Colorado to enjoy some patriotic fireworks during the 29th annual Salute to the USA show. A shell appeared to have exploded in its tube instead of properly firing into the sky. “The misfired shell caused the rack of 5” shells to tip in two directions causing two to three shells to cross into the crowd,” the town’s officials said in a statement.

Nine people suffered minor injuries during the fireworks failure late Friday evening. Thankfully all of the injured were treated by medical staff at the scene and released.

These were professionals setting off the fireworks, wait til all the amateurs start firing off M-80’s. This right here? This is why I stay home and get drunk. Much safer. Most of the time.
