It feels like my Facebook and Twitter feeds are constantly filled with two types of stories: Stories about bad cops doing bad things and stories about good cops doing amazing, heroic, courageous things. This blog post is the latter. According to TMZ, a 20-year-old man named Nelson Gomez was pulled over in San Mateo, California near a Caltrain crossing. When a train came barreling down the tracks, the cop pulled the driver from the car seconds before it smashed into it, saving his life.
Afterwards, Gomez was arrested for driving in violation of his probation. But the dude will forever have the cop to thank for saving his life.
Bro move, cop.
