Wedding videos, like professionally-shot wedding videos, are watched once, maybe twice, in the 50 years after the initial celebration. They can cost several thousand dollars, making them a really expensive memory. Most people don’t even bother with them anymore — I didn’t — because who wants to watch your entire fucking wedding? You, your wife, and literally no one else.
That’s why people, like this couple who turned their wedding into a music video, are stepping up the wedding video game. No one gives a rat’s dick how you cut the cake or how your best friend Steve did a pinpoint Springsteen as he was introduced by the DJ to “Dancing In The Dark.” And we especially don’t want to watch anything to do with the actual church ceremony. Good God. Sitting through that once was more than enough.
