Ranking The Best Food Personalities of All Time, On The Brilliantly Dumb Show

brilliantly dumb show podcast

As if it wasn’t hard enough to prevent myself from eating all day, I have been making it worse by binging all types of Food Network and celebrity chef shows. There is a surprising satisfaction to watching somebody make food that you know you can’t have or even smell. The right person lets you forget all of that and just appreciate whatever it is they’re whipping up in their kitchen that day.

Episode No. 59 of The Brilliantly Dumb Show dropped yesterday (which you can listen to here) and we decided it would be a good idea to rank the Top 5 all-time food personalities.

5. Martha Stewart

I think we all need to tip our caps for Martha’s way of being able to resurrect her career following her jail time. Rather than get back to her old ways, Stewart decided to link up with Snoop Dog which ended up being one of the greatest pairings of all time.

4. Gordon Ramsay

The only guy on the planet that could rake in 50 million views on a video of him cooking a scrambled egg. Maybe it’s the soothing English accent that suckers me in but Ramsay just keeps me coming back for more.

3. Rachael Ray

Is it weird to say that I have always had a thing for Rachel Ray? She has definitely flown under the radar for years but I don’t really think she gives a shit. All Ray wants to do is cook and bang out recipes, regardless of who may or may not be watching; I respect the hell out of her for that.

2. Jon Taffer

Nothing gets my adrenaline cranking quite like an episode of Bar Rescue with the Taff man. In my opinion, the best food/beverage show out there. The guy just does not take a day off and I sure hope he never does. An absolute electric factory in every way possible. We recently sat down with the legend and it was a fantastic time.

1. Guy Fieri

I find it hard to believe that anybody would give me a hard time for taking Fieri No. 1. I’ve been a local at flavor town for years now. The man has continued to stick to his roots and deliver quality, consistent content on Triple D. Never change Fieri, never change.
