Another Tuesday means another episode of The Brilliantly Dumb Show as Jersey Jerry has returned for his quest to have his own segment on the show. For those who don’t know, Jerry is an absolute character from the heart of New Jersey and is competing to win his own segment on the show. He must hit 7 out of 10 bets to be granted his own segment called “Turnpike Takes With Jersey Jerry.” This week definitely hits different though as there is a little buzz in the air, that buzz is the confirmation that the NFL is officially BACK.
Nothing can confirm the NFL is back quite like Jersey Jerry promising the Houston Texans at +9.5 Thursday is a stone-cold lock. His reasons are definitely a little bizarre as he credited Deshaun Watson’s heartfelt speech after signing his massive contract extension to his lock of the week, but that’s just Jersey Jerry being Jersey Jerry.

The Garden State prodigy started out of the gates 0-2 with a random horse race in Saratoga, backed up by a WNBA game, yes a WNBA game. It set the podcast on fire and was a moment that the show will never forget.
