It’s the NFL regular-season finale. If you’re reading this it means you might be playing the second week of the last round, or you just really love fantasy football, either way, I thank you.

We already know of some prominent players that will sit out this week with injuries, but you could also see teams who are locked into a playoff seed sit out players. That’s why I’m still here giving you advice, and because this gives me a chance to sit near my Christmas tree before my wife makes me take it down on New Years Day, here are some players to add to your roster in Week 17.

RB Gus Edwards

JK Dobbins has taken over as the primary back for Baltimore, but with Mark Ingram as a healthy scratch again, Edwards is still getting plenty of opportunities.

RB Darrel Williams

With Clyde Edwards-Helaire out last week, it was Williams (71% of snaps) and not Le’Veon Bell (29% of snaps) who took over the backfield. This could continue into this week with Edwards-Helaire out again.

RB Jeff Wilson Jr

With Mostert on injured reserve, it was Wilson who was a workhorse with 204 yards from scrimmage last week. He will get that same opportunity this week against Seattle.

RB La’Mical Perine

Perine made it back to the lineup after missing four games. He shared carries with Frank Gore most of the game but took over after Gore left with an injury. Gore will miss the final game of the season with a lung contusion, expect the rookie go out and make an argument to be the Jets lead back in 2021.

RB Malcolm Brown

Both Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson will miss Week 17 with a high ankle sprain. This will leave Brown as the lead back, and with Jared Goff also out after undergoing thumb surgery, the Rams could go heavy on the ground.

WR Nelson Agholor

I’m really shocked that Agholor isn’t more widely rostered, he’s been an incredible value this season for Las Vegas. With a lot of prominent wide receivers out last week and possibly this week, he can be a great plug and play.

TE Irv Smith Jr.

While Kyle Rudolph is out Smith has three touchdowns in the last three games and 153 receiving yards. He is a strong tight end streaming option for this week.

RB AJ Dillion

With Jamal Williams out and Green Bay playing with a comfortable lead, Aaron Jones sat in the second half last week and Dillion took over finishing with 124 rushing yards and touchdowns. Green Bay could sit Jones in the final game, giving Dillion a chance for a big performance.

TE Zach Ertz

With the changing of quarterbacks in Philadelphia, so has the pecking order of tight ends. Ertz now has 14 targets in the last two games. An option if you’re in need at the tight end position this week.

QB Mitchell Trubisky

Big Mitch now has three 20 point games averaging two touchdowns in the last five games. One of those includes the Packers who he play this week. An excellent streaming option this weekend.
