Every sports bettor has put together some ridiculously massive parlay and bet a dollar on it only to see their longshot lose two or three games into the bet.
One particular sports bettor put together a 25-leg parlay ahead of Tuesday night’s college hoops action, threw one single dollar on it, and was extremely close to turning that one dollar into $3,076.97.
How close you ask? They lost the parlay that carried +307697 odds by one single point.

The bettor went chalk with 23 of his 25 picks with only UNLV and San Diego State standing as the two underdogs on his betting slip.
UNLV took care of Nevada, leaving just San Diego State needing to pull off the upset at Boise State for them to cash in.
Things were looking good, really good, for SDSU as it led by one with just six seconds left. Boise State drew a foul with one second left on the clock after tying the game at 57-57 and Abu Kigab gave the Broncos a 58-57 win at the charity stripe.
Ultimately this bettor lost just one dollar, but the fact that they lost the chance to win over $3,000 and were denied by a point in the final second of the game is an absolutely horrific beat.
