On the receiving end of A-Rod’s 13th HR of the season was Zack Hample. According to his Twitter bio, he’s quite the baseball collector, so Rodriguez’s 3K very well may stand to be the greatest piece of memorabilia in his collection to date. Hard to think of anything that could come close to rivaling it, actually.

Hample’s tweets are super enthusiastic about the snag, as you can imagine.

Fan or not, that’s history in the palm of your hand!

No matter how you cut it, 3,000 hits is 3,000 hits. Something tells me Hample might be in line for quite the pay day courtesy of the New York Yankees.
