Prosecutors had claimed that Hernandez killed Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado on July 16, 2012 because one of the men allegedly spilled a drink on him in a Boston club.
The case for the prosecution fell apart after star witness Alexander Bradley may have been caught lying under oath.
Despite winning the double murder trial, Hernandez will ill still be behind bars for the rest of his life after he was found guilty of murder in a separate case last year.
