It’s okay everybody. Aaron Rodgers was just joking about having COVID toe. If you don’t believe him, he’ll show you.

Or at least, that’s what he did at a press conference today. Rodgers finally addressed the actual injury that has been lingering in his toe while bashing the Wall Street Journal for actually believing him when he made a joke about the ailment.

To prove that it wasn’t Covid toe and was in fact a fracture in his toe that is going to cause him discomfort, Rodgers took off his shoe and showed the toe to the camera.

This is just the latest installment of a saga that had the world googling “COVID toe” yesterday to see if it was even a real thing. Today, Packers fans will be worrying exactly how long it’s going to take for the fracture to heal.

One question that remains unanswered is exactly how Aaron Rodgers injured the toe. He wasn’t carrying an injury designation before being diagnosed with COVID. He came back off the COVID list with the injury.

It could have happened in the game before he caught Covid and he just didn’t have a practice after where he’d have received an injury designation, but it still has not been addressed.

This, of course, all follows the “immunized” fiasco that came with Rodgers’ COVID diagnosis. Overall, it is all just a weird saga in a season that started with us not even knowing if or where Aaron Rodgers would be playing.
