Just another normal week in the life of (potentially former?) Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Earlier this week, the 39-year-old four-time MVP won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am (net portion) with partner Ben Silverman.

Then, instead of heading somewhere like Las Vegas or Arizona for the Super Bowl, Rodgers was a featured speaker at the Aaron Rodgers-Astrology Workshop on Monday.

Rodgers’ week of weirdness didn’t stop there, though, as he went on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday and revealed he’s set to depart for a “darkness retreat,” which is… exactly what it sounds like.

“It’s four nights of complete darkness,” Rodgers said when McAfee asked what an “isolation retreat” is.

“You’re not locked in — you can leave if you can’t do it. You can just walk out the door. But it’s a darkness retreat. And I’ve had a number of friends who have done it and have had some profound experiences. It’s something that’s been on my radar for a few years now and I felt like it’d be awesome to do regardless of where I was leaning after this season, so it’s been on the calendar for months and months and months,” Rodgers explained.

As Rodgers indicated in the interview, he has either not made up his mind about his future or is not prepared to reveal it publicly.

While Rodgers has previously promised that his decision-making process would not be as drawn out as last offseason (which ultimately saw him agree to a three-year, $150 million deal with Green Bay), it’s certainly got to feel like deja vu for Packers fans as Super Bowl Sunday approaches.

According to some sportsbooks, Rodgers will be playing in Las Vegas next season, as his odds to be traded to the Raiders leaped to -450 on Monday night into Tuesday morning.
