As we close in on the NFL offseason, there is no bigger name who could be available than Aaron Rodgers.
The Green Bay Packers are reportedly ready to move on and there are plenty of teams looking for a quarterback right now.
There are a couple of teams who have been reported as ready to go all out to land Rodgers this offseason and now one of those teams has been made a huge favorite to be the next team Rodgers plays for.
Today, the odds for Rodgers to head to the Las Vegas Raiders rose to -450 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Overnight, the Raiders became the overwhelming favorite to land Aaron Rodgers (-450). Green Bay had been favored to this point.

The Raiders are the landing spot that makes the most sense for Rodgers right now. The team is a year removed from a playoff appearance and he already has plenty of chemistry with their best receiver.
The Raiders are also going to be just about all-in on landing Rodgers this offseason as they don’t really have many other options. After making the decision to move on from Derek Carr, the Raiders need to improve at quarterback to make that look like it was the right decision.
Signing Jimmy Garoppolo doesn’t really achieve that.
They also don’t have the option to bring in Carr like the other QB-needy teams do if they miss out on Rodgers, which should make them willing to pay a bit more for the Packers star.
If they do land Rodgers, there would still be work to do to make them a contender, including improving a pass defense that was among the worst in the league this season and re-signing Josh Jacobs after his breakout 2022 season.
Whatever they do next to try and build a contender, it looks like oddsmakers are pretty certain the Las Vegas Raiders will be starting their offseason with a trade for Aaron Rodgers.
