Anyone worrying about the healthiness of the Olivia Munn-Aaron Rodgers relationship can breathe a deep sigh of relief. Things are going just fine for the actress and Green Bay Packers quarterback.
We know this thanks to a hard-hitting piece in the New York Post this morning.
On her right ring finger is a vintage yellow-gold ring with a large oval emerald. “This is a gift from my boyfriend, actually,” she says.
That would be Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, whom she’s been dating since April, after they reportedly met at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
“I wore this for a premiere,” she says, playing with the bauble gently, “and he had heard me talking to my stylist about being obsessed with it. It is such a special ring, and then he surprised me.”
Then she clarifies: “It’s not that kind of ring, by the way. It’s not the special ring. I mean, it’s a very special ring, but it is not the special ring.”
Ah. We see. If this couple ever does decide to tie the knot, are they contractually obligated to hold the ceremony at Lambeau Field? I can imagine Packers fans getting pretty salty about not being invited to share their beloved boy’s big day.
Also, far be it for me to tell the Post how to do celebrity journalism, but it seems like they missed a giant opportunity to ask Munn if she finds Tom Wrigglesworth attractive. That’s a secret we may never know.
