Aaron Rodgers ‘Loved Every Minute’ Of Jets Win Over ‘Horses—‘ Spewing Sean Payton

Aaron Rodgers was in top form during his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show this week, as he not only challenged Travis Kelce to a “vaccine debate” and took shots at Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, but he also got in another dig at Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton.

After Payton made some disrespectful comments about New York Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett during the preseason, Rodgers came to his defense and clearly had the Broncos game circled on his calendar.

Obviously, due to his Achilles injury, Rodgers wasn’t able to play in the game, but the Jets were able to get revenge nonetheless by beating the Broncos 31-21.

Speaking to McAfee on Tuesday, Rodgers said he “loved every minute” of the Jets win over the Broncos, especially considering the ‘horses—‘ that Payton said about Hackett earlier this year.

“I loved every minute of it. One of the coolest things was watching the end of that game to see how people love Nathaniel so much. Yeah, he’s not going to be making big deal about it, but he’s a man. And those comments were horses— in the beginning of the season, and we all wanted that for him for sure. So, I’m really, really happy for him,” Rodgers said.

The fact that Rodgers wasn’t able to play makes the loss all the more embarrassing for Payton, whose Denver Broncos team, now sitting at 1-4, is statistically worse off than Hackett’s was at this time last year.

Not only were the Jets able to get the win over the Broncos, but players in the Jets locker room have also credited Hackett with getting current starting signal-caller Zach Wilson to look like a legitimate NFL quarterback.
