During the final two-and-a-half minutes of the fourth quarter of their Week 6 game against the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was replaced by backup signal caller Jordan Love as the team trailed the Jets by a score of 27-10.

After posting just one touchdown and suffering multiple sacks against the Jets, NFL fans were quick to pile on Rodgers given the struggles both he and his young wide receivers experienced in the game, which resulted in their record falling to 3-3

While the Packers were struggling to score against the New York Jets — who, to be fair, may start cashing those receipts that head coach Robert Saleh was talking about earlier this season — NFL fans took to Twitter to dunk on Rodgers, who many believe will retire at the end of the year.

“When are we gonna start talking about Aaron Rodgers being the problem with this offense,” wondered this Twitter user.

“The Aaron Rodgers led Packers offense is laughingly bad this season,” tweeted this NFL reporter.

“Aaron Rodgers goes multiple quarters looking like a shell of himself and then just uncorks one of the best throws you’ve ever seen. I hate this guy,” joked (?) this Twitter user.

After much speculation — literal years worth — Rodgers signed a 3-year, $150 million extension with the Green Bay Packers, the team that drafted him and the only team he’s ever played for, during the offseason.

As things currently stand, the Green Bay Packers are second in the NFC North behind the Minnesota Vikings.
