Aaron Rodgers has credited his wife with mending his familial relationships
Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, despite his constant pleas on national television for privacy, took to Instagram earlier this summer to share that he had been hanging out with his previously estranged family. Rodgers credits his mysterious wife with the development.
In an interview with NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt, Aaron Rodgers opened up about ending his nearly decade-long estrangement from his family, saying conversations with his wife Brittani helped him work through the process without ever pushing him toward it.
While Rodgers claims he got married last summer, his wife Brittani has never been seen publicly and has yet to be fully identified.
“She never pushed me,” Rodgers said, describing the reconciliation as something that had been building for a couple of years before going public.

As we previously reported, Rodgers recently posted photos from a family weekend in Nashville with his parents Ed and Darla, his older brother Luke, Luke’s wife, and their two kids — saying he finally got to experience being an uncle.
TMZ also obtained video of Rodgers spending time with his parents at his high school Hall of Fame induction in Chico, California a few months earlier, suggesting the reconciliation had already begun before he made it public on Instagram.
Rodgers still isn’t disclosing what caused the original rift, saying only that there were reasons “that don’t need to be talked about.” The estrangement became public in 2016 when brother Jordan discussed it on The Bachelorette, and Rodgers later addressed it on his Netflix docuseries Aaron Rodgers: Enigma and on The Pat McAfee Show.
His brother Jordan Rodgers was not in the Nashville photos and wasn’t spotted at the Chico event either — leaving it unclear whether every branch of the family has actually reconciled.
Rodgers — in what he says will be the final season of his Hall of Fame career — and the Pittsburgh Steelers will open their 2026 season at home against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 13 at 1 p.m. EST.
Despite winning the AFC North last season, the sportsbooks currently have the Pittsburgh Steelers as the third favorites to win the division behind the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.
