All is not well in the City of Brotherly Love, as the Philadelphia Eagles have now lost three straight games and therefore control of the #1 seed in the NFC.

Following their latest loss — a 20-17 defeat at the hands of backup QB Drew Lock and the Seattle Seahawks — Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown hopped on Twitter to take shots at a fan who was being critical of the Eagles’ offense.

“Yall fans swear yall know everything. It’s a shot play to me .i’m the 1st read . He Just missed the throw. of course we could’ve threw it 6 because it didn’t work but when the shit works everyone is happy. Quit all that buddy ball s—. I am decoys on many plays,” Brown tweeted.

“And all that he forcing me the ball sh– too . I’m in his head bulls–. When I make plays , everyone happy , but when it’s incomplete it’s I’m making him throw me the ball. I get blame for more s– than anything. Tired of yall playing with my character,” he said.

In the game against the Seahawks, the usually dominant Brown had just five catches for 56 yards and no touchdowns. In 14 games this season, the 26-year-old pass catcher has 95 receptions for 1,314 yards and seven touchowns.

Regardless of the loss to the Seahawks, the Eagles still control their own destiny, at least as far as their division is concerned: if the Birds win their final three games against the New York Giants (twice) and Arizona Cardinals, they’ll win the NFC East, becoming the first team to win the division in consecutive years since 2005.

The ship that is the #1 seed in the conference has likely sailed, however, as they now trail the San Francisco 49ers — who also own the head-to-head tie-breaker — by a full game.

The Eagles will look to right the ship on Christmas Day when they take on the New York Giants at 4:30 p.m. EST.
