Akshay Bhatia’s girlfriend, Presleigh Schultz, is going viral following his win at the Barracuda Championship. The victory was Bhatia’s first on the PGA Tour, and he credited Shultz with helping him get to this point.
The golfer commended his better half in a post-tournament interview in Truckee, California. He says she’s been with him every step of the way.
The couple began dating two years ago when they slid into each other’s DMs online. That interaction came in 2021 ahead of the Valero Texas Open.
Fast forward to 2023, and duo was celebrating a monumental win.
Bhatia bested Patrick Rodgers in a playoff to take home the honors, as well as $684,000 in winnings. After the event, the 21-year-old spoke to the media.

Bhatia got choked up talking about Schultz, who’s even been his caddie in previous events. Talk about commitment.
“She’s been through it all with me,” the golfer said. “She had no idea what golf was when I first met her… She travels every week with me. It’s not easy. Especially, because it’s all about me 100% of the time. For her to support me every week, to walk 72 holes every single week… I couldn’t imagine my life without her.”
Akshay Bhatia’s emotional presser had many trying to figure out who Presleigh Schultz is.
Her Instagram page reiterates that devotion as her bio reads, “I’m somewhere watching Akshay Bhatia golf.” She has a number of photos from past tournaments, most recently highlighting his exciting win in California.
Outside of golf, she seems to enjoy vacationing and traveling to new locations with her boyfriend.
Enjoying life seems to be top priority, as she documents each and every adventure online.
