Al Michaels Roasts Cowboys’ DaRon Bland After He Got Cooked By DK Metcalf For 73-Yard TD

79-year-old Al Michaels still has his fastball.

For the past year, Michaels has faced criticism for his lackluster calls during games but it seems like he’s still as sharp as ever.

This week’s Thursday Night Football featured a primetime battle between Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf and defensive Player of the Month DaRon Bland of the Cowboys.

Unfortunately for Bland, Metcalf cooked him early for a 73-yard touchdown.

After Metcalf’s touchdown, Michaels roasted Bland with a hilarious line.

“So Daron Bland just WON Defensive Player of the Month for November, but obviously, the voters didn’t count November 30.”

Maybe Michaels is right about not retiring if he can still deliver lines these good.
