If 17 nations championships, 30 conference championships, 40 bowl victories, and the best coach in college football wasn’t enough of a selling point, the University of Alabama just built a 25,000 square-foot Sports & Nutrition Facility to add icing on the cake to prospective recruits.
If you’re wondering what the hell a Sports & Nutrition Facility even is, it contains a “Fuel Center” and Smoothie Bar, five performance chefs, four dietitians, upstairs patio dining overlooking practice fields, and more than 50 HD televisions.

Mind you, this facility has nothing to do with the $9 million weightlifting palace that was built in 2013–complete with a goddamn waterfall.

The renovations the University of Alabama have made could be found in the couch cushions when you consider how much money the football program makes for the school. The WSJ has ranked the 115 Most Valuable College Football Teams of 2017 and Alabama ranked 4th in the nation, earning the school $930,001,000.
Alabama, who typically has the number 1 recruiting class, slipped to number 7 this year, with only two 5-star players signing on to play for the Crimson Tide. This Sports and Nutrition Center will offer prospective recruits some sweet incentives, almost as sweet as getting paid by a booster. But not quite.
