New Video Shows Alabama State Players Cussing Out Deion Sanders Before Jackson State Game

Things got chippy in Alabama over the weekend following a huge SWAC matchup between the Jackson State Tigers and the Alabama State Hornets.

Head coaches Deion Sanders and Eddie Robinson, Jr. got into it during the postgame handshake with Coach Prime appearing to shove Robinson after the 26-12 win by the Tigers. Robinson cut the handshake short, placing his hand on Sanders’ chest, which sparked the push.

Now, this is something that’s been building up all week. Sanders didn’t take kindly to Alabama State scheduling his program as the homecoming matchup, leading him to call the Hornets out with a bit of trash talk before the game.

New video shows just how chippy things were prior to that Saturday afternoon kickoff.

Alabama State players cuss out Deion Sanders in pregame

A new video is circulating around social media, showing Alabama State players cussing out Deion Sanders in pregame. Take a look.

Sanders walked up and down the Alabama State sideline, which many point out is not a typical practice. And of course, Sanders has the cameras rolling while doing so.

You can hear Alabama State players yelling “F— Jackson” as the head coach paces back and forth up the field.

The Hornets used that emotion to jump out to a 6-0 first quarter lead in the contest. Unfortunately, they couldn’t sustain the momentum, with Jackson State outscoring them 26-6 the rest of the way.

Safe to say that Sanders’ pregame comments comparing this conference matchup to a “money game” were heard by the Alabama State players. Coach Prime and the Tigers have the SWAC heated as they continue through an undefeated season.
