Florida Atlantic guard Alijah Martin had maybe the dunk of the year in a game against SMU on Thursday night. The high flyer soared over a Mustangs defender after taking off from just inside the free throw line.
The play came in the first half of action with FAU trailing by a bucket to its AAC rival.

Martin has re-announced his status as one of the leagueβs best scorers after entering the contest averaging 13.4 points per game, his third straight season in double figures.
He made his mark in last yearβs NCAA Tournament run for the Owls, helping them reach the Final Four. Earning All-Tournament honors, he notched double digits in four of FAUβs five postseason games.
That included a ridiculous 26-point output in a loss to San Diego State.
Martin was back at it again on Thursday with a 20-point night, and this dunk was the highlight of the performance.
