Florida Atlantic guard Alijah Martin had maybe the dunk of the year in a game against SMU on Thursday night. The high flyer soared over a Mustangs defender after taking off from just inside the free throw line.

The play came in the first half of action with FAU trailing by a bucket to its AAC rival.

An instant Top 10 candidate, the posterizing jam had viewers in absolute awe.

One of those fans hilariously lined the scene up with WWE commentary from legendary announcers Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross.

That dynamic duo spent nearly two decades entertaining wrestling fans with classic one-liners in the action-packed sport.

Thursday night, social media gave us the crossover we absolutely needed.

Lining one of the pair’s most memorable calls with Alijah Martin’s electrifying slam dunk, it was pure cinema.

Take a look:

The sound of the mat. The ringing of the rim. The roar of the crowd.

Flawless.

Martin has re-announced his status as one of the league’s best scorers after entering the contest averaging 13.4 points per game, his third straight season in double figures.

He made his mark in last year’s NCAA Tournament run for the Owls, helping them reach the Final Four. Earning All-Tournament honors, he notched double digits in four of FAU’s five postseason games.

That included a ridiculous 26-point output in a loss to San Diego State.

Martin was back at it again on Thursday with a 20-point night, and this dunk was the highlight of the performance.
