It’s hard to top Kacy Catanzaro’s historic run as the first woman to ever finish the American Ninja Warrior finals course, but 52-year-old Jon Stewart becoming the oldest person to ever accomplish the same feat is certainly a close second. Up next, for Stewart and the rest of they finalists, comes a trip to Las Vegas to attempt to climb Mt. Midoriyama, something no American has ever done.
I’ve been watching ANW for the last few years — because summer TV sucks and apparently I like feeling bad about myself — and although this season ranks at the top in terms of parody, I have serious doubts that we’ll actually see someone conquer Mt. Midoriyama.
