Patrick Mahomes has only been a starting quarterback in the NFL for five seasons but he’s already got a long list of amazing highlight plays.
Now, we have Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid talking about which play he thinks is the greatest of all time for his superstar quarterback.
From the scrambling plays and last-second tosses for huge gains, what could be at the top of Reid’s list?
During a sit-down interview with Mike Florio and Chris Simms, Reid chooses the left-handed throw as his top play in Patrick Mahomes’ young career.

That’s a pretty solid choice from the loads to choose from. Even so, Patrick Mahomes is only 27 years old and has plenty of years left ahead of him.
Although this is Andy Reid’s top play, it’s likely we haven’t seen the best of Mahomes just yet.
Especially when you think about the Chiefs quarterback hinting at throwing a behind-the-back pass in the middle of a game. I mean, I wish he pulled that off in the Super Bowl.

But if Mahomes ever follows through with that, then that would clearly be the best play of all time. Andy Reid would have to agree, right?
With that said, we’re going to be seeing a lot of the Chiefs in the postseason moving forward. And that’s with or without Andy Reid as the head coach.
