Many would think the continued presence of Taylor Swift at Kansas City Chiefs games could be a distraction for the team. However, Andy Reid wants the pop star to keep coming following another insane performance by her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Kelce was marvelous for quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Sunday as the Chiefs beat the Chargers, 31-17. The future Hall of Fame tight end had 12 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown and absolutely dominated the Chargers defense.

The first half was especially good for Kelce. He had 9 catches for 143 yards and a touchdown while Swift and Brittany Mahomes did special handshakes in the stands. After a 24-17 first half, the pace of the game slowed down in the second half, but Kelce was the best pass-catcher on the field for either team.

And, With Swift in attendance for the 4th time in five games, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid wants her to keep coming, as Travis Kelce has been much better this year when she’s in attendance. Take a listen.

How much better? Kelce is averaging over double the amount of yards when she’s in attendance this year compared to when Swift is absent. It’s no wonder that Andy Reid wants her to stick around.

It seems like she will be, as the couple seems to be going strong. So are the Chiefs, in fact, as they are now 6-1 and have once again staked the claim as one of the best teams in football. Kansas City travels to Denver next week.
