NFL social media personality Annie Agar went viral over the 4th of July holiday after posting a stunning photo in red, white, and blue. And as she does so often, she took a moment to jab a professional football team in the process.

The New England Patriots were, fittingly, the victim of the Independence Day post as she accompanied her American flag bikini photo with a witty caption.

Agar grew to fame with her hilarious skits, throwing shade at anyone and everyone across the NFL and Big Ten. The Michigan native went viral when she posted a hypothetical zoom meeting involving teams from the B1G during the 2020 COVID season.

The tweet, which is still pinned to her page, has nearly 36K likes to date.

The Grand State Valley grad has since turned that internet following into a successful career as a football correspondent. Still, she doesn’t miss a moment to show her undying affinity for the Packers while tearing apart rivals on the timeline.

On Tuesday, she took aim at the Patriots by posting a light-hearted shot at the franchise.

“Happy 4th everyone! Based on their QB situation, this might be the only time you’ll see Patriots celebrate this year.”

She might have a point. New England saw a revolving door under center in 2022 with Mac Jones, Bailey Zappe, and Brian Hoyer making starts. Jones will likely be QB1 come ’23, but that might not settle the fanbase’s nerves.

Annie Agar’s followers were quick to comment on the 4th of July post.

One fan wrote, “I’m starting an official petition to replace the Statue of Liberty.”

Someone else said, “She holds no punches.”

This person posted, “This is an elite tweet. All Patriots slander is welcomed.”

The 4th of July fun didn’t end there for the NFL correspondent, though. Agar later took part in a massive water balloon fight at the lake.

After entering this annual parade unprepared the year prior, she made sure to stock up on ammunition this time around.

Agar appeared to take some hits, noting that there were “a few casualties” on board, but she said they also gave out their fair share parting shots in the process.

She seems to be enjoying the offseason. We can’t wait to see what jabs she has waiting come season’s start.
