The Los Angeles Lakers have started to get things back on track after a disappointing start to the 2022-23 season.

The Lakers are currently in 13th place in the Western Conference with a 27-32 record, but made some big moves ahead of the NBA trade deadline.

The Lakers acquired Rui Hachimura a few weeks before the deadline.

Then they managed to get Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley, and D’Angelo Russell last week.

Since the new roster came together for the first time, the team is 2-1 despite LeBron James missing the first 2 games after the deal.

It would seem like things are looking up for the Los Angeles Lakers. In spite of that, one of the team’s stars may not be too happy.

According to Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd, Anthony Davis could head to the Dallas Mavericks after this season.

I talked to an NBA source who I’ve known for a long time, he said the Dallas Mavericks and Anthony Davis, keep your eye on it…Anthony Davis is pouting, LeBron’s holding him accountable, LeBron’s not happy with him.

That may seem appealing to Anthony Davis, but if I was Luka Doncic I’d walk into the GM’s office today to ask him not to make a deal.

The Mavs are already taking a bit of a risk pairing Luka with Kyrie Irving, who has had the tendency to miss a lot of games over the past few years.

Anthony Davis misses a whole lot more. There’s a good reason why Charles Barkley started calling him “Street Clothes”.

If you put Kyrie and Anthony Davis on the same team, health is suddenly a huge factor in whether or not your team can win.

That just feels like too much risk for a team trying to win right now.
