Antonio Brown is back in the NFL.

At least, that’s what the one-time superstar wide receiver wants fans to believe.

Brown set Twitter on fire on Friday afternoon when he announces he was set to return to the league with the Baltimore Ravens after 1.5 years away.

The news comes as a shock for a number of reasons. First, Brown hasn’t played an NFL game in over a year and is 34 years old, going on 35 when the new seasons start.

Secondly, he’s still dealing with a number of league issues. Most notably, a recent warrant for his arrest for failure to pay outstanding child support.

“Yeah well first off, anytime you say a guy own a team, there’s going to be some garnish in the wages, but let’s get this clear, I paid my bills, I’m a professional. It’s about running the Empire and running the business. We don’t need negativity on my name. It’s bigger than me,” Brown told Sports Illustrated about the outstanding warrant.

It appears that the police would disagree.

Brown has also been busy explaining his beef with Tom Brady.

“Now when we get the ring in 2021… the next year I’m the last guy that’s signed,” he said of the issues. My agent Ed Wasielewski is getting called, cursed out by Tom Brady over why is he pushing back for the contract for scraps. Imagine if you heard that, the same guy that brought you in to win a ring, the same agent he told you to hook up with to get the deal, is now telling me, the guy’s calling him, saying, yo, cursing him out about scraps of a contract.”

Now it seems that’s all in the past. And fans are fired up for his comeback.

Then again, somebody might want to tell the Ravens about this.
