Antonio Brown has had plenty to say since storming off the field in the middle of the Week 17 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets. He dropped a new song, he made that ridiculous podcast appearance where all he kept saying was “kumbaya”, he’s talked about his mental health, and now he’s been interviewed by Complex.
He’s said plenty of stuff in the last few weeks that seemed a bit outlandish, but he may have given the most unbelievable quote yet in the interview with Complex.

That’s right, Antonio Brown is claiming that multiple teams have reached out to him since his release. Can there really be multiple teams that desperate right now? Can there even be one?
If it was just about his play on the field, Antonio Brown would be one of the league’s most sought-after free agents this offseason. Brown put up 42 catches for 545 yards and 4 TDs this season in just 7 games this year. He’d make a great on-field addition for most teams in the league.
Unfortunately, when AB leaves the field, the appeal quickly goes away. There was the furniture incident, the misdemeanor battery charge, the frost-bitten feet, this year’s suspension, and now his latest incident with the Bucs.
It’s just hard to picture any team currently being desperate enough to take on the headache that comes with having Antonio Brown as a member of your team. There are simply other options out there who can provide similar production and who you won’t have to worry about leaving the team in the middle of a game.
If Antonio Brown actually has been called by NFL teams then there must be some desperate teams around the league.
