Any other year and I’d say that Antonio Brown is one busy man right now but to be perfectly honest I don’t know what Antonio’s day-to-day schedule looks like now that he’s been dropped by the Patriots, faces legal battles, and has been shunned from NFL teams this season.

What I do know is Antonio Brown remains as active as ever on social media. The dude can’t seem to put down Instagram or Twitter for more than a minute. Every time I blink there’s some wild new AB story about his social media use.

Earlier this week, Antonio Brown took to Instagram where he shattered any hopes of re-signing with the New England Patriots when he ripped Robert Kraft and mocked the ‘Spa Visits’ in South Florida. But he wasn’t done with the ‘gram.

AB then shared news about how he’s working on music with South Florida’s Sean Kingston and Antonio seems pretty amped to share some of his craziest stories throughout the years. One of those stories will be about the time he got shot in the ear. THE EAR. A hair away from getting shot in the head and his life ending forever. That’s an experience I can’t even wrap my mind around.

“Going to be telling my story in these songs all truth I had the biggest police chase at fiu university campus. Mario Cristobal was the coach ask him!” Brown said before revealing that he’ll recount the time he was shot in the ear on these records as well.

“Or Me getting shot in the ear In the left [ear] In liberty city pink n grey projects!” Brown continued. “Then I walk on to CMU.” (via Complex)

This does make perfect sense. He’s as popular right now as he’s ever been but he’s not in the NFL. That popularity will only last for so long. People will 100% check out his music. He’ll be able to monetize that and keep earning $$$$ while he’s not playing football….But for how long?

If Antonio Brown isn’t back in the NFL next season, and at this rate it doesn’t appear as if he will be, then he’s going to drift into obscurity as this former athlete who has a massive social media following and whom people mostly follow just to see what will happen next. Like a trainwreck in slow motion.

On the field, he’s one of the greatest wide receivers in the NFL. But off the field, how long can anyone be expected to stay interested? Anyway, the album drops in 2020 according to Antonio Brown so stay tuned for that. It’s unclear if that means next month (January) or if he’ll be going for the 2020 Song of the Summer.
