Los Angeles Rams cornerback Aqib Talib KNOWS ALL ABOUT the Patriots. He played for Bill Belichick in New England for a year and a half from 2012 to 2013. He also played against New England, beating them in the AFC Championship while with the Denver Broncos to go to Super Bowl 50.

So when the media wanted to know if he thought Patriots like Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski still have what it takes to win another Super Bowl, his response was pretty funny.

“He looked great, man. He looked like Gronk to me. You see him in the playoffs last week? Hit my dog EB (Eric Berry) up top… hey, He’s Gronk…” Talib responded, while chuckling. “So, all the shots or whatever you call them, shots? That stuff be coming from y’all. It don’t come from the guys watching the tape. If you watch the tape, you would see. So, y’all know if y’all really be watching the tape… when was the last time you watched some tape? Do you watch it though? You probably be drunk during the game.”

Also during the media session, Talib was asked to comment on the comments about Tom Brady his fellow Rams defensive back, the infamous Nickell Robey-Coleman, made where he said, among other things, that “age has definitely taken a toll” on Brady.

His response was that the media “reports the lines that you want to report,” adding that Robey-Coleman also had positive things to say about New England’s quarterback.
