The Prince of College Football, Arch Manning, has inked his first NIL deal since arriving in Austin at the University of Texas campus.

Arch Manning, nephew of NFL and College Football royalty Peyton and Eli Manning, wound up as the #5 overall recruit in the 2023 class. He also ranks third in On3‘s ‘NIL 100’ tracker that shows the value of each eligible athlete.

It’s hard to fathom how much consideration went into the brand/company that Arch would sign his first NIL deal with. He has access to the best advisors in the game.

So for his first NIL partnership, Arch Manning inked a deal with Panini America. As part of the NIL deal, he will release an exclusive line of autographs, trading cards, and memorabilia according to a report from ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren:

This partnership is the quarterback’s first NIL agreement and is a multiyear deal that will see Panini create trading cards and will include exclusive autographs from Manning. The first release will be a one-of-one Prizm black autographed card that will be auctioned this week on Panini’s website.

All proceeds from the sale will go to a Central Texas nonprofit with the help of St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation.

Speaking about his new NIL partnership, Manning said “getting my first Panini trading card is something I couldn’t have imagined growing up. Working with Panini to have my first trading card benefit the larger community is special. Helping children live healthy and fulfilling lives is something that has always been important to my family.”

It is hard to imagine a better way to kickstart his NIL career than launching his own trading card and monetizing his autographs right out of the gate.

Interestingly, Arch Manning’s Longhorns teammate Quinn Ewers also has an NIL deal with Panini to produce trading cards of his likeness.

According to the aforementioned On3‘s ‘NIL 100’ tracker, Arch has an NIL value of $2.8 million. He currently has 190K followers on Instagram, 8.9K on TikTok, and 65K on Twitter.

It appears as if the vast majority of Arch’s NIL value is derived from his family name and future talent on the field. As opposed to say, an Olivia Dunne or Bronny James, whose NIL values are derived from their millions and millions of followers across social media.

According to the latest Texas Longhorns depth chart on Our Lads, Arch Manning is currently 3rd behind Maalik Murphy and Quinn Ewers.
