Argentina did not take their loss to Spain very well.

On Sunday, Spain won the World Cup after defeating Argentina 1-0 in extra time.

Immediately after the game, Argentina’s Leandro Paredes received a red card for trying to attack Spanish players celebrating their win.

Moments later, Argentina’s national team was seen with their back turned towards Spain while they received their trophy presentation.

The team later refused to speak to the media after their loss, and walked directly towards the team bus to leave the stadium.

Fans on social media ripped into Argentina over their postgame actions”

“Just rewatched the scenes after the final whistle. This Argentina team showed the entire world what they really are today. A bunch of thugs with little to no dignity. Some of these players really shouldn’t be on a football pitch”,” commented one fan”

“Impossible to defend. Don’t care how passionate you are to represent your nation, this just isn’t it. Classless in every conceivable way,” said another fan.
