Twitter is a great place for finding up-to-the-second news and reading unwanted opinions on anything and everything, but it’s not generally a place of goodwill. Houston Texans running back Arian Foster changed that when he brought some generosity to the social media platform.

Ernesto Guerrero tweeted at Arian Foster “@ArianFoster can you help me pay for my books this semester??? Those hoes ain’t cheap.” Now Foster has over 507,000 followers so he probably gets barraged on Twitter asking him all kinds of questions. Not only did Foster reply, but he also promised to buy him all the textbooks he needed for college.

“When I saw that Arian replied to me, I was stunned,” Guerrero told Sporting News. “It was hard to believe. After I snapped out of it, I took a screenshot of the tweet and sent it to a group of friends of mine from college. They couldn’t believe it either.”

The two then direct messaged each other, and Foster told the Texas A&M International student, “We’ll make it happen.”

What a great thing to do, but now Arian will have to deal with everyone else asking for textbooks.

Or asking for Foster to buy them lunch.

And asking for a J-O-B.
