Absolutely NOBODY Showed Up To Tailgate Arkansas’ Blowout Loss To Georgia In Protest Of Athletic Director

Arkansas is floundering. However, the Razorbacks actually drew a decent-sized crowd for their college football game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Athletic director Hunter Yuracheck still sits on the hottest seat in the country.

Losing the college football fanbase is the fastest way to get fired. The Hogs made it clear they are ready for a regime change.

Arkansas fans did not show up for the tailgate.

The start of the college football season typically signifies the beginning of Autumn. Especially as the calendar turns from September to October. It starts to cool down. Leaves start to change.

The Southeast did not get the memo. Temperatures continue to hover at (or above) 100º. Humidity continues to make the air feel more like soup. It’s hot and sticky.

There is no doubt that the weather had impact on the pregame festivities in Fayetteville on Saturday. Same with the 11:00 a.m. kickoff.

With that being said, Arkansas was playing the No. 2 team in the country at home. A fanbase that actually cares about their team would’ve showed up and showed out for the tailgate. The booze would’ve been poured. Vibes would’ve been high.

That was not the case. The traditional tailgating area was completely dead.

Everybody decided to stay home and sleep in. Those who decided to attend the game were late to arrive.

The Razorbacks drew a decent crowd for college football!

Although they chose not to tailgate — credit where credit is due. Arkansas fans showed up for their players. Arkansas fans showed up for their first-year head coach Ryan Silverfield. I can say confidently that they did not show up for Yurachek.

The get-in price hovered around $8 but not that many tickets were available. At least, less than expected. Some of those seats were occupied by Georgia fans. More than half were occupied by Hogs.

It was a pretty solid turnout for a team that was losing 21-0 at halftime on the heels of a blowout loss to Utah.

Even if it was much better than expected, it was not a sellout or anywhere close. Fans decided to stay home instead of watching the Razorbacks get pummeled by the Bulldogs in the scorching heat. They want Yuracheck gone. Continued poor attendance will do it.
