Don’t look now but Army is in great position to go undefeated during the 2024 college football season and quarterback Bryson Daily continues to be the primary catalyst. He is must-see T.V. every time he steps onto the gridiron.

However, unlike many (if not most) collegiate athletes around the country, Daily’s daily routine does not center around his sport.

As a student at the United States Military Academy, his schedule is focused on his future obligation to our country. Football is second. Academics and training comes first.

Daily is an engineering management major with aspirations to one day serve in a leadership position, just like he does in the huddle. It requires him to work hard both on and off of the field.

Every day is the same and it’s a grind. Bryson Daily’s schedule is as follows:

  • 0710: Morning Form / Breakfast
  • 0740: Prod Ops Management
  • 0905: Officership
  • 1055: Infrastructure engineering
  • 1200: Lunch
  • 1245: Dean’s hour
  • 1410: Lift
  • 1515: Team meeting
  • 1630: Practice
  • 1900: Treatment / dinner
  • 2015: Study period

Lights are out by 9:30 p.m and then his alarm goes off around 6:45 a.m. for him to do it all again.

Daily, a senior, is well-accustomed to his highly structured routine by now. He arrived to West Point with the Class of 2020 as a two-star recruit with offers from Yale, Princeton and Harvard, among others.

His decision to play for the Black Knights proved to be a good one!

Army is 4-0 after a win over Temple with an easy schedule ahead. Daily is averaging six yards per carry on 82 carries through the first four games of the season with eight touchdowns on the ground and a trio of scores through the air. He straight-up hurdled a defender in route to a big gain on Thursday night!

Not long after Daily finished his run, he was back on a flight home to New York to make sure he was in class on Friday morning. The life of a quarterback at Army is different!
