Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is a legitimate Heisman trophy candidate and a potential first round NFL Draft pick. This week, he talked about a few potential professional landing spots on a live stream.
The ball carrier noted a pair of favorable destinations, one of which would represent a homecoming of sorts. He also spoke on one place he’d rather not wind up!
The Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys came up in the conversation, both of whom Jeanty could see himself suiting up for.
“Chiefs, you know what I’m saying. I’d be a Super Bowl contender every year,” he said. “Come on man. Dallas Cowboys?… I’m from Frisco. I played in their practice stadium. I would be a hometown hero if I went there.”
There was one organization that he wasn’t quite as high on, though. The Chicago Bears!

“Would I like being on the Bears? Y’all already got a back already in D’Andre Swift. I’m not gonna lie, Chicago’s too cold,” Jeanty replied to a fan. “I can’t do that one.”
Interestingly enough, Ashton Jeanty plays in Idaho where it also gets pretty chilly in the winters. He’s not ready to endure those conditions in the next phase of his playing career!
Jeanty currently leads the nation in rushing and is on pace to vie for the NCAA’s all-time single season mark.
Should he come close, he should land a seat at the Heisman trophy ceremony, and possibly an NFL Draft invite. The running back’s listed a few of his top choices, though at the end of the day, he’ll be more than happy to sign with any of the league’s 32 teams.
