Baker Mayfield Fires Shot At Antonio Brown While Responding To Troll On Instagram

Baker Mayfield doesn’t appear to be a fan of Antonio Brown.

This season Baker has been heavily criticized for the Browns’ lackluster offense after an offseason filled with lofty expectations.

Despite the Browns’ struggles, Baker wants fans to stay patient and promises that he’s going to right the ship.

“Don’t hit the panic button. I think we realize how close we are, but that is the frustrating part. We can’t have continued mistakes – the same thing over and over again. We have to do our job. Have to hit the reset button. Look at the film. Learn from it. I think we improved in a lot of areas, but when you play a team like that, the little mistakes will get you. We have to eliminate that. Next week we have another good opponent that is playing well right now.”

On Friday, Mayfield took to Instagram to post this motivational pic before the team’s game against the Ravens.

Just some undersized Walk On… Keep that same energy.

One Browns fan wanted Baker to avoid becoming the next Antonio Brown and told the QB to just worry about getting better on the field instead of posting on social media. Mayfield didn’t appreciate being compared to Brown and took a shot at the wide receiver’s antics while responding to the fan.

It’s only a matter of time until Brown sees Baker calling him out and fires back just like he did with Eric Weddle yesterday.
