Remember how we first learned that Baker Mayfield had a new girlfriend back in early January when he was crushing beers at a Clippers game to dull the pain from his Rose Bowl loss?
At first we thought he was with his long-time girl Morgan Mayberry, but it turned out it was someone new named Emily Wilkinson.
Yeah, well, in a move that Johnny Canada would certainly give a thumbs up to, after dating for less than half a year, Wilkinson has quit her job as a patient coordinator at a plastic surgery center in Beverly Hills so she can move to Cleveland to be with Mayfield as he begins his NFL career with the Browns.
Reports TMZ Sports…
“I’m excited to say I’m only leaving Galanis Plastic Surgery because I’ll be starting a new adventure with this guy in Cleveland,” Emily said.
She called the move “bittersweet” and said the surgery center has been her “favorite job ever.”
Maybe she can use some of Mayfield’s $33 million rookie contract and hang out with Khloe Kardashian when the Cavaliers season comes to an end. They are both from California, after all.
No way this move backfires at all, right, Browns fans? The team’s record with young quarterbacks has been sparkling.
But just remember, Browns fans, if this whole Mayfield thing somehow doesn’t work out…
