A fitting “ball don’t lie” moment occurred in a matchup between the Texans and Cardinals on Sunday. After seemingly being robbed of a turnover, Arizona’s defense took back what was theirs.

The call came on an Arizona punt that hit a Texans player. It appeared to be a fumble which was recovered by the Cardinals, but officials ruled the ball down.

Refs said the ball hit the arm of an Arizona player before touching the Texans gunner, ending the play at the spot of that contact.

Houston would take over, mounting a drive into the red zone. The Cardinals defense then took things into their own hands.

‘Ball don’t lie’ trends after Arizona pick.

Arizona picked a CJ Stroud pass off near the goal line, returning the interception 46 yards to midfield. Everyone online had the same reaction to seeing the turnover.

“Don’t worry refs, we’ll take it from here.”

Ball don’t lie, friends.”

C.J Stroud picked off for the second time today. Somebody in the press box, presumably here covering the Cardinals, banged on the table and said ‘ball don’t lie!'”

Unfortunately, the Cardinals wouldn’t capitalize on the pick. Arizona’s offense turned the ball over on downs the next series, and they’d eventually fall 21-16.
