The moment Philadelphia 76ers fans had been waiting for finally arrived last night. Joel Embiid finally had another star alongside him again.
James Harden made his 76ers debut last night and it quickly became apparent just how much of a problem Embiid and Harden are going to be together.
In just their first game together, Embiid and Harden combined for 61 points on 17/30 from the field while demolishing the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Throw in 28 points from Tyrese Maxey and the Easterb Conference should suddenly be very concerned about running into this squad in the playoffs.
It took the 76ers just one game to already start clicking with Harden in the lineup and basketball fans were already very impressed by the new-look 6ers.
James Harden has tied Ben Simmons on the Sixers all-time three-pointers made list.

Talk about starting off strong!
James Harden has now had 25+ points and 12+ assists in each of his last 3 debuts with a team (Rockets, Nets, 76ers).
Nobody else in NBA history has even done that ONCE. pic.twitter.com/Z1kJmNmv7P

Joel Embiid also sounds pretty happy about getting to play with James Harden.
"That was probably the most wide-open I've ever been in my career."
Safe to say Embiid already loves playing with James Harden 😂
