Ben Crane’s Eagle Hole-Out From Behind A Tree Might Be The Golf Shot Of The Year

The Farmers Insurance Open is currently going on at Torrey Pines and despite the difficult playing conditions the PGA Tour pros have been enduring at the stop in La Jolla, it looks like Ben Crane’s third round is coming along just swimmingly.

Crane holed-out for one of the more ridiculous eagles you’ll ever see on No. 15, opting to use a long iron to punch up onto the fairway after his tee shot left him behind a tree.

Well, the ball kept rolling…right into the hole. It’s pretty early to make the call, but this just might be the shot of the year.

Freakin’ spectacular! Not a bad way to get back to -6, Ben. Some good karma today, no doubt.

Scott Brown of Augsta, Ga., sits atop the leaderboard at -9 at the time of writing; Crane sits in a multi-way tie for sixth.
