On Friday night, GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump told a crowd in Virginia that he planned to have Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and UFC president Dana White speak in next month’s GOP convention.

Mr. Trump rattled off a list of other names of sports figures who he said have supported him. According to the candidate, he also has the support of the star quarterbacks Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger; Brian France, the chief executive of Nascar; and Dana White, the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship.
In a different rally in the Pittsburgh area on Friday, Trump claimed that Roethlisberger was “100 percent” behind him.

Mr. Trump also name-dropped Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. While lauding Mr. Roethlisberger’s prowess, Mr. Trump said “he’s with us 100 percent.”
But according Roethlisberger, Trump is full of shit because the Steelers QB is staying out of politics and not endorsing anybody.
Mr. Roethlisberger told the Post-Gazette Saturday evening that he is staying out of politics and will not attend the GOP event.
