Indoor Football Player ‘Poops’ Ball Onto The Field In Best TD Celebration Of 2017, Gets Penalized

It’s easy to forget that there are football leagues outside of the NFL and College Football. There’s the Canadian Football League where aging NFL players go to live out their days instead of being put out to pasture (joking! I know there’s plenty of mediocre talent in the CFL). There is also the Indoor Football League (IFL) where talented college players who couldn’t hack it in the NFL go to showcase their talents. Today, we’re talking about the latter.

While celebrating a touchdown, Cedar Rapids Titans wide receiver Damond Powell was penalized for what I’m deeming as the best TD celebration of 2017:

The referees weren’t happy with Damond Powell, who previously played college ball for the Iowa Hawkeyes and then spent one year with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. He bailed on the NFL and took his talents to the IFL where he’s put this glorious TD celebration on display.

When the Super Bowl wraps up I forget that Summer football exists. I live in close proximity to the city that hosts my lifelong favorite NFL team (Buccaneers) and thankfully, I also live in the state where my alma mater (FSU) is. So, each Winter when Tom Brady hoists the MVP trophy into the year I just assume that football is over….To all of you bros out there who watch these other leagues, am I missing out by not following the Indoor Football League or CFL?
