The Nathan & Sons Castor Oil Toothbrush Kit: Great For Your Smile, Even Better For Cutting Down On Waste

Nathan & Sons Toothbrush Kit

Fun fact about me: I have endured just about every conceivable dental procedure you can imagine. I had bondings for when I chipped my two front teeth in the third grade, replaced later with crowns, a root canal for one of the teeth before the crown was placed, braces, and a gum graft surgery. The only issue I’ve never had? Cavities. Now, that might be in large part due to growing up in New York City with its fluoride-rich water, but I’ve also had a dedicated and thorough approach to brushing. That starts with finding the right toothbrush, which is why I’m upgrading to the new Castor Oil Toothbrush Kit from Nathan & Sons.

You’ve typically had two choices for toothbrushes: the standard plastic and the electric. Both have their advantages in terms of price and performance, but doesn’t it feel like we need something in between that delivers on both?

The Nathan & Sons kit includes three bamboo heads with castor oil, bio-based nylon bristles that screw securely into the aluminum handle for easy swap-outs. All of this combines for a smooth, durable brushing experience that also cuts down on plastic waste.

Overall, you end up spending less money than you would on an electric toothbrush, but get a lot more mileage than the cheap plastic ones.
