One sports bettor’s opportunity to win $300,000 is still alive thanks to the Warriors. The gambler placed a futures parlay that’s correctly predicted the most recent champions for the World Cup, college football, the Australian Open, and the Super Bowl, as well as successfully picking UCONN to make the Final Four.

The last leg on the parlay needs to have the Golden State Warriors repeat as NBA champs.

The bettor survived a scare in the first round with the Dubs escaping in a seven-game set, 4-3. After falling behind 1-0 in the series, Golden State won four of the final six contests, including a decisive Game 7.

This bettor says he was on a plane at the time of that matchup, as he was unable to follow the action. Luckily for him, Golden State left with a relatively easy 20-point win.

The victory kept the dream alive for at least one more round. That is, unless he decides to take the $30,000 cash out option.

Fans online were quick to react, posting their responses to the parlay in the comments section.

One person said, “Cash out right now. Zero chance they win it,” while someone else wrote, “Cash out after this series. It’s not happening.”

This follower commented, “$30k? Easy cash out. Pay me.”

The original wager was $200, so a $30,000 payout would be a huge win in and of itself.

The path only gets tougher for the Warriors from here on out. They’ll soon square off against the Lakers in what’s become a highly anticipated semifinals matchup.

After that, a potential Western Conference Finals series awaits before the NBA Finals against the Eastern Conference champs.

Are you cashing out or letting it ride?
