Sources close to Jordon, with direct knowledge, tell TMZ … the legendary football coach, now for the University of North Carolina, and his much younger girlfriend quietly ended their romance “late last year.”

Although, they’re no longer dating, we’re told they remain “committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends.”

North Carolina staffers were left stunned by the news because they had no idea the two had broken up.

The status of Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson came under the microscope Friday, Oct. 30. But if the North Carolina football coach and his girlfriend are on the outs, two people inside the UNC football office told USA TODAY Sports they were not aware of it.

The two people, including one high-ranking staff member, spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

It appears that Hudson, who was at North Carolina’s game against Syracuse last week, decided to skip the team’s game this week after reports of her breakup with Belichick.

According to the NY Post, Hudson was nowhere to be found as North Carolina last a close game against the Miami Hurricanes.

Bill Belichick’s North Carolina squad came this close to beating the No. 1 team in the nation.

But it appeared that there was one notable absence in Chapel Hill.

Jordon Hudson seemed to skip the 38-35 loss for the Tar Heels, or at the very least was not seen on the game broadcast or in photos inside Kenan Memorial Stadium.
