The Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings played arguably the game of the season (so far) on Sunday, as Kirk Cousins and the Vikings went into Buffalo and secured a 33-30 victory over Josh Allen and the AFC East favorites.
The win wasn’t without controversy, though, as there have since been a handful of calls in that game that has been confirmed to be wrong. For example, the Bills’ defense apparently had 12 men on the field when it made a crucial three-yard-loss tackle on running back Dalvin Cook.

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said on Sunday that he thought Buffalo’s defense had 12 men on the field when they dumped Cook for a three-yard loss, but wanted to confirm it on tape. The tape showed that O’Connell was correct.
“I know it’s moving pretty fast out there sometimes,” O’Connell said. [via ProFootballTalk]
This, of course, isn’t the only call that the refs missed in the crucial matchup, as the NFL has since confirmed that they also mistakenly ruled that Gabe Davis caught a key pass that he actually dropped.
Thanks to their impressive win over the Buffalo Bills, the 8-1 Minnesota Vikings are now being considered legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Following their victory over the Bills, the Vikings will the host the Dallas Cowboys in a crucial NFC matchup before closing out their season with games against the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears.
As for the Bills, who have lost two straight games now (they were beaten by the Jets the week prior), they’ll close out their year with matchups against the Browns, Lions, Patriots (2x), Jets, Dolphins, Bears, and the Bengals.
