Bills running back Nyheim Hines is set to miss the entire 2023 NFL season after sustaining a torn ACL in a Jet Ski accident and has decided to pursue legal action against those he believes are responsible for the incident.

According to attorney Brad Sohn, who’s representing Nyheim Hines, the other Jet Ski operator involved in the accident was allegedly operating recklessly and in violation of North Carolina’s minimum watercraft education training requirements.

The recklessness resulted in the collision that led to Hines’ injury. Sohn further revealed that the operator was cited by local authorities as the cause of the accident, while Hines himself was not issued any citations.

Additionally, Sohn intends to investigate how the operator of the other Jet Ski was permitted to rent the watercraft in question, shedding light on potential regulatory oversights in the rental process.

As of now, Nyheim Hines remains on Buffalo’s non-football injury list, facing a lengthy recovery process.

He remains under contract for the upcoming NFL season, and his legal team is determined to ensure that justice is served in the wake of this unfortunate incident.
